Using Microvision Flic Scanners
with Pendragon Forms
Pendragon Forms
can be used to create data collection applications that work with
Microvision Flic
scanners.
The Microvision Flic is a handheld barcode scanner that connects to a handheld via a cable or via Bluetooth wireless connection.
Bar codes can be scanned into any text field.
Scripting can also be used to specify which bar code symbologies can be scanned, take action when a bar code has been scanned, and omit the prefix or suffix bar code digits in some bar code symbologies.
On Palm OS devices, Serial Magic software is used to manage and capture the data before sending it to Pendragon Forms. On Pocket PC devices, no additional software is required.
