Using a Magnetic Stripe Reader with Pendragon Forms

Pendragon Forms can be used with the Series 2500U MagStripe magnetic stripe reader from Scanning Devices Inc. to collect data from  bank cards, ID cards and trade show badges.

Scanning Devices Inc. has released an extension that allows Pendragon Forms to read the card and return the resulting data. 

This application is called using Button field in the form and the card information is stored in a Text field.  A brief script specifies how the reader reads the card and what data is returned.

Read all data or just a specified track, specify timeout in seconds, specify the card data format.
